I am a Senior Paediatric Consultant with over 30 years’ experience in caring for all types of children’s health problems. I initially trained in General Paediatrics and now am dually qualified to offer specialist Allergy advice.
I have trained at leading teaching hospitals in the UK including Leicester Royal Infirmary, Leicester and St George’s Hospital, London. I gained membership of the Royal College of Physicians UK and I currently hold Fellowships of the Royal College of Physicians UK and Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, UK.
My NHS work is at the Homerton University Hospital, London where I have been a Consultant Paediatrician since 1998. I have a special interest in Allergy. I run tertiary level allergy services and provide allergy investigations, food challenges and allergy desensitisation. I undertake the full range of general paediatric clinics, in-patient ward rounds and treat children with acute illness admitted via a very busy paediatric A&E unit.
I have been recognised by the ACCEA, a national independent advisory Committee on Distinction Awards, for 7 Clinical Excellence awards (the National maximum is 10).
Consultant Paediatrician and Allergy Specialist (Private)
I consult at the Holly House on Thursdays and Spire Roding Hospital on Thursdays and Saturdays. I also see children by special arrangement at The Harley Street Clinic Children’s Hospital. I try to be as flexible as possible and may be able to see children weekday evenings or weekends by prior arrangement if my other practice days are not suitable for you.
